Abilities Manitoba, with support from The Province of Manitoba, brings you this training on The Agency Guide To The Vulnerable Persons Living With A Mental Disability Act (VPA). Employees of service providers funded through Community Living Disability Services are eligible to attend the training for free. Each of the sessions below will be delivered online, running 3.5 hours each. Inclusion Selkirk is offering a 5-day online workshop on Personal Outcome Measures to Abilities Manitoba member organizations free of charge! Spots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The workshop will take place from January 16-20, 2023 from 9-5ish, varying from day to day, and will be taking place over zoom. Participants in the workshop will learn what personal outcomes are, conducting interviews, and will get the opportunity to conduct interviews themselves, and how personal outcomes measures can be applied to ensuring person centred supports. An interactive session where we dig into how we can all protect and promote the rights of people we support in proactive and powerful ways!

This is not a standard workshop but an opportunity to share ideas, gain some resources, network and perhaps engage in some conversations in areas you have been stewing about. We can accommodate 40 learners. The event lasts 1.5 hrs.
