CLdS: Management of Personal Funds Policy (PDF)
Policy Statement: All individuals in receipt of Community Living disABILITY Services (CLDS) are encouraged to manage and make decisions about their personal finances to the best of their ability. Individuals are educated and assisted to gain skills and independence with their finances wherever possible.
If an individual requires assistance with the management of their finances, a Personal Financial Plan must be developed to describe the way support will be provided. Assistance will be provided in the best interest of the individual and in the least restrictive and least intrusive manner possible.
