Sector Awareness & Staff Recruitment Project
With support from the Government of Canada and the Manitoba Government, Abilities Manitoba has launched a recruitment and awareness campaign to attract Direct Support Professionals to the Community Living sector. A variety of stakeholders including people with lived disability experience, service organizations, and current Direct Support Professionals supported the development of the campaign's messaging and strategy. The campaign is set to run until December 2022 and will show digital media adds through a number of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google. Winnipeg advertising will also feature transit shelter ads.
