Through discussion and practical strategies, participants will learn how to support people with disabilities to take the driver’s seat in their own lives—balancing rights and responsibilities, navigating “grey areas,” and standing beside people as equal citizens.

LPG Lab – Community Presence
Abilities Manitoba’s Leading Practice Guidelines set out what high-quality services should look like for Manitobans with intellectual disabilities.
This fall and winter, senior leaders are invited to join a series of interactive two-hour online LPG Labs.
Each session will focus on one guideline area, explore what leading practice looks like, review ready-to-use tools and policies, and create space for leaders to share successes, challenges, and resources.
The goal is to help organizations strengthen their services and support people to live full, inclusive lives in their communities.
