Facilitating Support Networks Training - Day 2 (May 14)

Facilitating Support Networks -  May 14, 2025 9am-4pm. NO COST - limited spaces

This is a one-day training that builds off concepts from Developing Relationships and Connections, a prerequisite that must be complete prior to taking Facilitating Support Networks. We explore the concepts of what effective support networks do through a lens of reciprocity and the importance of sharing a person's story. This training is for service providers who want to deepen their learning and leave with practical strategies for lasting impact on people's lives by developing facilitation skills for sustaining support networks.

This training will further facilitate learning of: 
1. The important role of a support network in assisted decision making and how it can create a reduction in reliance on the Public Trustee and Guardian. 
2. Hospitality: how to invite and create a welcoming place for people to gather. 
3. Facilitating group dynamics.
4. Creating strong and sustainable support networks. 
5. The important role of support networks in holding a person’s story. 
6. Succession and generational planning. 

Prerequisite is Day 1 -Developing relationships and connections.
