This advice has been developed to assist disability service providers on how to use management, supervision and training to reduce the risk of abuse, neglect and violence toward people with disability using their services. It provides useful tips that should be considered as part of a range of prevention-focussed safeguarding approaches by organisations that support people with disability. It does not extend to situations where there has been an allegation of abuse and need for investigation.
